A new mascara promises to create beautiful lashes and a political statement

Beautycounter launched a campaign called #100Lashes, centering around mascara that took over four years to develop. It took such a long time to develop this mascara because of the company’s commitment to using only safe ingredients. It points out that the U.S. has failed to pass a major federal law to regulate ingredients used in personal care products since 1938. Therefore, the company takes the initiative to self-monitor the ingredients that goes into its products.
