Many projects have attempted to capture the possibility of humans working with artificial intelligence to make music in real time. As we shared last week, this year’s Moogfest sessions took questions like this seriously and delivered on possibilities at the intersection of artificial intelligence and art. One session that caught our attention is Georgia Institute of Technology‘s musical showcase, which featured a robot with the capacity to improvise on marimba or drums along with human musicians.
