Artist draws scene in front of him in 360 degrees on a plain coffee cup

A coffee cup can have many different uses, but few would consider a canvas to be one of them. However, that’s what Tokyo-based illustrator Adrian Hogan did: turn his morning cups of joe into works of art.

Hogan takes a cup and re-creates the scene in front of him around the cup, in full color. Once finished, he takes a video for his Instagram, holding up the cup and rotating it to match the scene in the background. These cups includes scenes at cafes, on suburban streets, at intersections and more, highlighting the beauty of the mundane.
