The traditional slow cooker is finally getting an update: Oliver is a new kind of slow cooker from design consultancy Matter. The slow cooker features divided chambers that release ingredients at different times to ensure that everything cooks at the best texture, and pairs with an app to make searching for recipes and buying ingredients easy. Chefs and amateurs alike can look for their next meal in a recipe database featuring dishes from around the world: simply select the dish and the app will give you a list of ingredients and instructions on how to prepare them.
