Obey Your Verse campaign returns this summer with the words of a new collection of rappers adorning the soda company's packaging

After a successful 2015 debut of its Obey Your Verse campaign, Sprite announced that a second set of limited-edition lyrical cans will launch throughout the summer of 2016, featuring the lyrics of hip-hop icons 2Pac, J. Cole and Missy Elliott.

The cans—16 in all—flaunt custom artwork by California designer Erik Marinovich, who attempts to capture the style of both the artist and lyric with each font. Sprite has long partnered with the hip-hop community, as a means of aligning the brand's spirit of authenticity and self-expression with artist counterparts such as A Tribe Called Quest and Grandmaster Flash. In last year's inaugural Obey Your Verse offering, the packaging honored famous lines from Rakim, Nas, Drake and The Notorious B.I.G.
