Volvo Is Perfecting The Package Delivery Process
The trunk of your car may soon replace the doorstep with this secure, two-hour delivery service
Many companies have been developing innovative practices to cut down their delivery estimates as a means of catering to an increasingly impatient audience, from the use of drones, to on-demand ride service partnerships and micro and/or mobile warehouses. But a new concept being tested by a select few brands looks equally promising: delivering to cars. Audi is trying it, Amazon is trying it, Volkswagen is trying it, and for the second time ever Volvo is trying it too, in collaboration with Swedish startup Urb-It.
