Virtual Fitness Platform Lets You Workout Anywhere In The World
French VR company uses HTC Vive to create immersive training experiences
French virtual reality producer Holodia is creating immersive experiences to make fitness more fun. Using the HTC Vive, Holodia offers a system of virtual coaching and virtual environments to make exercise more engaging. People can complete levels rowing, running, or biking through exotic locales. Fitness stats can be displayed on screen to show progress. It is also possible to race friends locally or online to make individual fitness a more social experience.
The experience is available for pre-order and costs 10900 € which includes the Holofit computer, VR headset, audio headset, safety guide, hygiene kit and accessories. It is expected to ship summer of 2016.
