In order to to expand access and save lives, these droneports will be coming to Rwanda

With the many new uses of drones today, there is a growing need for drinking about all the many logistics of their use and travel. The Norman Foster Foundation teamed up with Jonathan Ledgard to woke on droneports for drones specifically used with medical supplies.

According to designboom, a full-scale prototype of the droneport was debuted at the Venice 15th international architecture exhibition.

In a video describing the process of creating the droneports, the team describes the potential of the droneports to reach communities in need. The pilot project is being launched this year in Rwanda, with the team hoping that it will expand to reach a number of areas.
