British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has revealed its ground-breaking hypercar, developed in partnership with the F1 team Red Bull Racing. The AM-RB 001 has been engineered to be as enjoyable as a road car, but capable to perform better than any other road car on the race track.

The three men behind its creation are Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey, Aston Martin EVP and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, and VP and Chief Special Operations Officer David King. The AM-RB 001 has been built around a lightweight carbon fiber structure and it boasts radical aerodynamics for unprecedented levels of downforce in a road-legal car.

The approach marks a change from many current production supercars. The AM-RB 001 will be significantly lighter, and also feature a naturally aspirated V12 engine as opposed to a hybrid turbo.
