Method Design has created a playful video that shows the power of visual effects on the human body

Using the popular song “Light It Up (Remix)” by Major Lazer, Method Design recently created a vibrant video that shows figures dancing energetically. But these aren't just any figures—each new one shows a different color scheme and a different texture.

One second, a figure looks like it's made out of blue balloons, and in the next frame another figure made out of colorful fur starts to dance. Method Design explains that the video was created for The AICP awards at the MoMA as a sponsor reel. The aim was to showcase the range of visual effects possible in production. “Motion capture, procedural animation and dynamic simulations,” the team explains all led to the creation of this quirky video.
