While the economy may fluctuate, a new drinking spot lets customers hedge their bets on alcohol

While Hong Kong braces for a post-Brexit recession, a new “stock market bar” called Wolf Market is giving investors a devious alternative.

Central to the concept is an LED screen where fluctuating drink prices are displayed on the wall. Drink prices fluctuate by HK$3, so customers can make their choice based on personal preference, speculation, or a combination of both.

The bar is located in Lan Kwai Fong, where apparently ‘the best decisions are made after midnight.' Add this to the greater economic context and the nature of the business, this could either be a smash hit or a hot mess—you be the judge.
