Philanthropic organization Girl Effect is reaching out to young adolescents to prove that no invisible barrier can get in their way to success

If there’s one thing that young adolescent girls don’t need to hear is what they can or cannot do. Girl Effect created a short film titled “Invisible Barriers,” where the aim is to promote female empowerment.

Girl Effect is a group that the Nike Foundation started. The aim of the philanthropy project is to empower young adolescent women to take charge of their life–and perhaps their destiny.

“Do you know that you can fly?” has become the slogan of the short animated film. The message is evident: whatever the dream is and whatever obstacle is in the way, girls can rise above it all to realize their goals. As Nike always say, Just Do It!
