The technology can guess where you're going before you get there, as well as learn your personal preferences to make better recommendations

Available exclusively on iOS, Yahoo has recently launched Radar, an artificially intelligent travel guide there to help iPhone users plan their next holiday or get some guidance on their destinations. By already knowing where you’re going, the app will be able to suggest sightseeing, restaurants and the like, all the while learning what your preferences are to make the day after or even the next trip more relevant to the user.

So far, artificial intelligence has proven to be an excellent methodology for many startups and industry giants alike to make their platforms more conversational, personable, personalized. The practice also helps companies establish themselves within a space, ultimately becoming the central hub for themed interactions—much like what Yahoo’s Radar is attempting to do for travel.
