A sunscreen-spraying station helps apply UV protection in seconds for easy, stain-free coverage

As summer rolls on, applying sunscreen when enjoying the beach, the pool, or even just a quick jog outside becomes of paramount importance. Applying it, however, can be a hassle, not to mention time-consuming, so it often gets skipped. SnappyScreen is hoping that by turning it into a 10-second procedure, more and more people will take UV protection more seriously.

This New York-based company has designed a special booth that applies sunscreen in much the same way that spray tanning works. Users enter the level of SPF they want, enter their height, and then enter a booth where they are sprayed with rotating nozzles. The booth also provides sunglasses so that user doesn’t have to worry about being sprayed directly in the eye. Using 360 rotation, the sprays are able to reach often forgotten or hard-to-reach places such as behind the neck or back.
