Inspirational content sharing site Pinterest is launching a new feature that will allow users to snap photographs of real life items and shop for them through the app. Users can take photos through its visual search button, and the website will identify and mark the objects it recognize

Click on the object of interest, and Pinterest will show a list of similar items for purchase. Along the straight from the camera visual search, the company is also launching a shopping cart. Users can add items they’re interested in and access it cross-platform, whether it’s on their phone, tablet or web. It’s Pinterest’s way of combining real life appeal with online shopping.
