In Brief

The Manhattan location has created an oasis high above ground to help guests escape the urban jungle

Being out in nature – surrounded by trees, animals, and the ground crunching under your feet – can provide solace and peace for many people looking to escape their busy city lives. But for some, camping is more of a nuisance than it is an oasis; pitching a tent and starting a fire can be more than some city-dwellers can handle.

That’s where the W New York comes in, thanks to their new glamping suite on the rooftop terrace of their Manhattan-location. Conceived of and planned by the interior design experts at Laurel & Wolf, the 17th floor terrace has been converted into an “urban glamping adventure” that lets guests feel like they’re camping without having to leave the city.
