NYC is ridiculously crowded and the minuscule available spaces are constantly fought over by numerous organizations. There comes a point where decisions need to be made: do we build affordable housing for those in need or let a business come in and hopefully give a nice boost to the economy? While they are valid points of contention, rarely are parks contenders in these debates…until now. The Lowline is New York City’s first underground park that will utilize solar technology to create a beautiful space for anyone to enjoy.
