A new device at this year's Wimbledon has been serving up custom drinks

When you think of Wimbledon, the first word that comes to mind probably isn’t “innovation—yet. The tennis tournament’s official Twitter account recently shared a video of a coffee machine that prints famous faces onto cappuccinos. According to a press release sent to Mashable on behalf of coffee company Lavazza, the machine responsible for this new art form is called the Ripple Maker, and will be available during this year’s tourney.

And though Wimbledon is going to be a great way to spread news of this glorious machine, turns out the Ripple Maker is already available for order on the company’s website. The idea extends beyond Wimbledon’s celebrity headshot offerings, and can be used to put any image atop a steamy cappuccino as a great way to strengthen a brand’s image. Alternatively, you can potentially get customers to buy more coffee and forge deeper connections by letting them design their own prints.
