Artist Creates Magical Stories As A Series Of GIFs

These complicated moving images take the concept of worlds in a bottle to a whimsical level by creating fantastic pieces of art

As technology evolves, so does how we express ourselves. Few artists represent this better than Amsterdam-based Rafael Varona and his “Impossible Bottles” series.

The first set of GIFs depicting strange little worlds made waves in 2014. Now the illustrator has developed a second part of the series with even more magnificent worlds, such as a huge robot under the earth, each with smaller GIFs to highlight important details. These images mixed technology with traditional art, taking storytelling to the next level.
