Declutter And Recycle All Of Your Unwanted Stuff
A new app will help catalogue your possessions and give them away as donations when you no longer want them
Stuffstr is an app that wants to help you own less and declutter. The platform allows you to add new purchases to an online inventory: when you realize that you no longer want something, a swipe will help you give it away by notifying friends and family that it’s up for grabs or directing you to the nearest donation box. The app wants to “…help people essentially declutter their lives, and do it in a way that avoids landfill and really puts things to good use,” Stuffstr’s CEO John Atcheson told Fast Company. Some 70 percent of the things we buy end up in landfills, and Stuffstr is designed to make the process of recirculating a little easier.
