Artist Alby Letoy creates drawings of poignant travel memories for the visually impaired

In an effort to relay the travel experience of those visually-impaired, Travel Supermarket commissioned Malaysian artist Alby Letoy to hear the stories of eight visually-impaired people then illustrate their narrative. The diverse group of eight includes a wood maker, a jazz vocalist and a salesman. The point of the art project was to bring a new perspective into traveling.

Although those who have poor or no vision are handicapped in one sense, their other senses are incredibly heightened, which is evident in the colorful, detailed drawings that Alby Letoy creates.
