A Marriott Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina has been turned into an experimental lab to test out new hotel features meant to appeal to future guests of the hotel from Millennials to the generations beyond. There are buttons and screens for guests to swipe around the hotel, where they can easily evaluate their stay. Guests can thumbs-up or down the digital check-in experience, or evaluate how they like the new gym. Guests pay standard rates and may not even know they’re in an experimental lab until they arrive.
