GE has added Amazon Dash buttons as a standard built-in function on its new connected washer and dryer

Owners of General Electric‘s Wi-Fi-enabled washer and dryer no longer have to worry about when they're running low on fabric softener or detergent. The company has plans to incorporate Amazon's Dash service, which allows them to order supplies at the tap of a button directly into the machine.

The units are the first GE appliances that will include the Dash buttons, but users won't have to track detergent levels and press the Dash button when they're getting low. The washers and dryers will have Dash functionality included in their software which allows them to automatically sense when supplies are low and order refills.
