A Turkish jeweler creates necklaces, brooches and other accessories inspired by doodles

Turkish jeweler Tasarim Takarim will turn you children's drawings into jewelry or tabletop sculptures, in case tacking them up on the fridge just isn't enough. Custom gold or silver-plated necklaces that are hand-cut start at $125, and are occasionally engraved to preserve the children's designs. Mail in a photograph of the drawing to get a custom order, which takes about a week to produce. Also available: cufflinks, brooches, and even tabletop sculptures.

These pieces are mostly geared toward proud parents, of course, but the company's co-founder, Yasemin Erdin Tavukçu, told the Huffington Post that kids are also thrilled to see their artwork turned into a long lasting treasures. “When kids see the jewelry [they designed], they become so proud of themselves and feel very happy,” Tavukçu said. “They really believe that their art is loved and appreciated by others.”
