Creative studio Nelson Cash created a typeface inspired by the Netflix series' retro title sequence and art direction

Creative studio Nelson Cash has built a type generator that lets you transform words using the font from Stranger Things. Designer Sarah Gless explains in a blog post that she got hooked on the Netflix show due to the impressive typography in the title sequence. It is simple yet effective, setting the tone for what follows in the episode.

The show's logo was inspired by Stephen King with the creators sending copies of his novels to the studio behind the title sequence. Now, visitors to the Make It Stranger site can create and share their own logo inspired by Stranger Things. The type generator enables users to write anything on two lines and ‘strangify' it before downloading the image, tweeting it or sharing it on Facebook.
