The domestic airline is working on a new mobile experience that will improve the booking process

Between delays, cancellation and fully-booked flights, traveling by airplane can be stressful and hectic. Virgin America is working on an app that aims to take some of the frustration out of flying.

With the help of digital design firm Work & Co, the same firm that also revamped Virgin America’s website, the airline is working on a new app that will help customers do everything from book flights, check-in, relay gate or delay information as it becomes available and provide Spotify playlists based on the traveler’s destination. Its look is meant to replicate the sleekness of its webpage to create a cohesive aesthetic for the entire brand.
