Whyd is a standalone voice-controlled speaker with an intuitive user interaction and a powerful 360-degree sound. The Whyd speaker lets the owner control music from anywhere in the room without access to a smartphone. By telling the speaker to “Play my morning mix” or “Play Frank Ocean” the device will play the music using your favorite music streaming services. Through vocal commands, a user can trigger the play of a particular recording artist, song, playlist, or even radio. The one-touch interface also enables them to control the music directly on the speaker: tap on the glass to play a song, swipe to go next, and zoom with two fingers to increase and decrease volume.
