A man-made archipelago in Italy is hosting music and art performances

Space Caviar, a Genoa-based architecture studio, has installed a cluster of small, floating islands on a lake in Mantova, Italy. This man-made archipelago will host intimate musical, film, dance and art performances.

L’Arcipelago di Ocno, as it is called, was conceived as part of Mantova’s year-long designation as Italy’s Capital of Culture. The project was inspired by the lotus plant, which is native to Mantova’s lakes.

Join us Sunday at 6pm in Mantova for the inauguration of L'Arcipelago di Ocno, our project for Mantova Capitale della Cultura, when the archipelago will become a stage for a full-orchestra presentation of Beethoven's 7th – all welcome! #nofilter #norender
