Machine learning allows the bot to refine how and when it shares content to ensure maximum engagement

Chatbots have proliferated as the latest web trend, from helping you find an apartment to find medicine for your illness. Now comes Yala, a new bot designed for Slack and Facebook Messenger that can help you better manage your social media presence in just a few minutes.

Founder Gary Levitt, one of three people who currently work on Yala, was inspired to make the bot after feeling dissatisfied with social media service Buffer that lets you schedule multiple posts across different platforms. Yala will not only help craft posts faster by asking questions, but it will also recommend posting times based on previous likes and shares, which will update in real time as the audience grows. While the bot currently only posts to Facebook and Twitter, it will soon expand to other social networks.
