Match Up With Dates On Tinder Based On Your Music Preferences

A new partnership with Spotify lets people pair up based on shared tastes in artists

Music streaming platform Spotify and dating app Tinder that has popularized the ‘swipe right’ phenomenon teamed up to create a new way for users to sift through the masses and find their soulmates. Users can choose their favorite songs, or “anthems,”  to play when a potential Tinder date comes across their profile. Though a Spotify subscription is not required to listen to the tracks, users can sync their accounts to display their favorite artists. If anything, its partnership with Spotify gives users more information to calculate their decision—better for some, worse for others.
