Rosie Batty is the new face of the Love Your Age series, and is using the platform to bring awareness to a prevalent and deadly problem

Domestic violence remains a pressing global issue for both men and women, and French cosmetics brand Lancôme is bringing new awareness by making the face of their latest campaign a domestic abuse survivor.

 

Activist Rosie Batty, the 2015 Australian of the Year and family violence survivor, is the new face of Love Your Age campaign. Batty's ex-partner physically abused her, and even murdered her son Luke in 2014. She is using the campaign to raise awareness across Australia, including that one in every three women will suffer domestic violence. Lancôme will also host a fundraising day on October 11 for the Luke Batty Foundation, which helps women and children from abusive homes, wherein it will match every dollar donated.
