The new partnership brings original content to in-room entertainment and encourages travelers to engage in the conversation

On the evening of September 7, 2016, two TED Fellows took the make-shift stage set up in the lobby of the Marriott Bellevue Seattle to present their TED-sized ideas around the theme of ‘curiosity.’ Constance Hockaday explained her journey creating maritime projects, initially seeking out inspiration from women around the world living on handmade rafts while Kellee Santiago discussed videogame design and the collaborative process of creating a commercial, multi-player, emotionally riveting experience. Each speaker’s respective perception of ‘curiosity’ was met with eager responses from the audience, a blend of teams from TED and Marriott International, as well as hotel guests and business travelers passing through the hotel lobby.
