Despite the competition, Erewhon, a popular LA grocery chain, has made tremendous strides in recent years within the retail and organic industry. The shop, which was not doing well in 2011, is now thriving thanks to new ownership that credits millennials, word-of-mouth advertising and branding for the turn around.
