Burj Khalifa gives a backstage look at how the transformation came to be

The Burj Khalifa, currently the world’s tallest building, is now also its biggest LED display. This new record would be very tough to break. The display area measures a whooping 33,000 square meters.

It was revealed that portions of the skyscraper had to be opened carefully for access to the exterior. After 72 km of wires being wound around the structure and 10,000 connectors secured into place, the awe-inspiring display is complete.

While the Burj’s exterior facade is already quite impressive, the video shows that the lights give it a different kind of life at night. Seeing a behemoth structure turn into an LED screen is quite difficult to compare with anything else.
