The educational bot pairs directly with a guardian's phone so they can send messages and customized media to their children

As technology continues to make its way into the world of children’s play, one company wants to integrate augmented reality, live-streaming, and a slew of other technological features into playtime. Honeybot is a robot and educational companion that checks off many roles in a child’s life. Its hardware includes a Samsung camera, Quad-core processor, high-fidelity speaker and HD screen, which cumulatively makes a highly complex but impactful toy.

With a direct link to parents’ phone, honeybot can beam special messages while they are away from their kids (or vice-versa). These messages range from announcements and reminders to customized multimedia messages crafted by parents to catch their child’s attention.
