The well-known vodka maker has enlisted curators from around the world to help them build a new online marketplace

Absolut Art is selling contemporary artwork from all over the world. Simplifying the process, it has transformed the buying process of fine art to be something as seamless as shopping on Amazon.

Curators hunt the most influential artists from cities around the world. Their work is exhibited on the website and once sold, the sale is split 50-50 between the artist and wholly-owned Absolut subsidiary. The 50-50 split is a gallery standard rate.

Aside from simplicity, the online marketplace makes buying authentic art less intimidating and allows more people to try their hand at art collecting. Just buy online and in a few days, receive the authenticated piece. The artwork is generally above $112 (€100) and many are priced below $200, an affordable price tag.
