A virtual checkout experience was designed to incorporate intuitive gestures into the purchase process

Alibaba, China’s largest online marketplace, has recently announced a new VR shopping shopping system as a part of its latest initiative to capitalize on potential retail technologies. Working with Ant Financial to oversee the development of this bold new shopping system, users can browse virtual reality shopping malls and purchase items simply by looking at them and nodding.

The company is currently experimenting with various identification authorization inputs prior to putting on the headset, including connected devices or technology that recognizes each person’s unique voice. Additionally, users may be able to login to their accounts by setting passwords that combine multiple head movements and touch controls, or by keeping the goggles still while staring at a specific point.
