Chipotle’s New Weekly Show Broadcasts Over Snapchat
The Mexican fast food brand is trying to build goodwill with high school and college students through the social media platform
Chipotle is looking to engage a younger crowd by creating a weekly minute-long show called “School of Guac” on social media. Chipotle’s Snapchat show is aimed at hungry high school and college student, and features short segments, special deals, and Mexican food-themed jokes and trivia.
Created by Vice-owned digital agency Carrot Creative, the show is posted every Tuesday at 3pm EST on Chipotle’s Snapchat account, ChipotleSnaps. After a year of bacterial and norovirus scares, these Snapchat stories might help to rebuild the brand’s reputation.
