A Swiss agency used airtight PVC to create a portable bar and dance floor

When Bureau A was contracted to design the venue for the Federation of Swiss Architect's annual party, the Geneva-based firm knew that it would have to come up with something that stood out to impress its clients. The result is an inflatable nightclub deemed Shelter: the jet-black, inflatable PVC structure houses a bar, dance floor, DJ area and seating.

There are many benefits of partying in an inflatable structure, particularly that a stumble due to overindulgence has a good chance of a soft landing.
