Mattress company Casper has developed the insomnobot-3000 to help occupy people's minds on sleepless evenings

If you can’t just seem to find the ZZZs while everyone else is in deep sleep, the insomnia bot named “insomnobot-3000” will keep you company over text. Created by mattress maker Casper, it’s a gimmick that targets its future clients when they’re most vulnerable: struggling to get to sleep.

The bot warns it’s only up for chats after 11 PM, otherwise it might miss your messages while its “Probably at work. Probably asleep. Or both.” From 11PM until 5 AM, the bot becomes extra chatty, but if you find you’re finally falling asleep just text “bye” and it will take the hint.
