Online access and mobility sharing are driving the company to disrupt the auto industry

Just from the name alone, LYNK & CO isn’t what you’d expect an automotive brand to call themselves. The new Chinese-backed automaker from Geely (which also own Volvo) wants to challenge the notions of what a car brand is and the types of products and services it will offer. This departure from the norm starts with the name, a combination of LYNK, referring to a connection between East and West, and CO, which is more of a descriptor referring to ‘connectivity’ or ‘cool.’
