French supermarket Carrefour partnered with a running group for fast and memorable deliveries

French supermarket Carrefour partnered with an all-female race, called La Parisienne, for an interesting and alternate delivery system. Parisians involved in the race didn’t just have water bottles and energy bars on hand, they also carried groceries that were to be delivered door to door.

Carrefour’s online shop, Ooshop, used the three-day stint to celebrate its third year of partnering with La Parisienne. The race, which started in 1997, is exclusive to female runners.

In addition to being a promotional tool that serves it and its branding partner, the runners give a very personal touch to the online shopping experience, and, if done right, leaves Ooshop with the healthiest ’employees’ on the planet.
