Watch our Future of Work vision video, showcasing an app that aids hiring companies and prospective employees during job interviews
Traditionally, the interview process is a one-sided conversation where an employer holds all of the leverage. According to a survey conducted by Harris Interactive on Everest College’s behalf, this results in 92 percent of U.S. adults feeling anxious about the job interview process. As a result, it inhibits applicants from expressing and exhibiting their full potential and hides great talent from companies.
In our Future of Work report, PSFK Labs looked into how to improve and facilitate the interview process during all of its stages, empowering both employer and employee while recalibrating the interviewer-interviewee balance with a little help from AI. Our team designed the Intelligent Interview Questionnaire (IIQ). Watch the full concept below:
Inspired by the 10 strategies to develop a new era of internal leadership found inside the Future of Work report, PSFK will present boundary-pushing product and workplace visions to reimagine how teams can onboard employees, expand the office, and prevent miscommunication.
The Intelligent Interview Questionnaire (IIQ) is a web-based AI tool that uses LinkedIn data and voice input to craft interview-relevant questions, learns from participant responses, and eliminates human communication woes—all in real time, before, during and after the interview. While preparing for the meeting, a user logs into the service, looks up the employer or employee to cross-match resumes, goals and job description so as to surface talking points and relevant topics.
Using advanced voice recognition, IIQ listens to the conversation and analyses answers to detect opportunities or issues that could arise from the hiring process. By notifying the user, IIQ can provide relevant responses and answers to questions while also crafting new inquiries. By facilitating the conversation in real time, organizations and potential hires can determine if a partnership might be a cultural fit.
By condensing IIQ’s functionality into a single web-based AI, it can be easily accessed from any type of device at any time.
Rather resoundingly, IIQ streamlines the once-dreaded interview process and lets the user focus on what is important—human connection—without compromising important information and disrupting workflow.
