The Simpsons Is Stepping Into The World Of VR
To celebrate their 600th episode, the animated family sitcom created a virtual reality version of their opening gag
The Simpsons is one of TV’s longest running shows, one which adapts its jokes to modern situations, news items and technology. To celebrate their 600th episode, which also happens to be their 27th installment of their Treehouse of Horror Halloween series, they created their first VR couch gag. The Simpsons VR presents the Halloween-themed couch gag Planet of the Couches, a parody of the famous Charlton Heston film Planet of the Apes.
