The video campaign, featuring two teddy bears, is striking a chord with viewers for its unexpectedly wholesome nature

UK airport Heathrow has launched its first holiday video campaign. Created by advertising agency Havas, “the best gift of all” features two teddy bears making their way through the airport. It captures all the familiar sights and sounds, with the elderly bears ultimately reaching arrivals and searching the crowds for someone.

The ad was filmed over three days while Heathrow Airport was fully operational, with location management team Salt dealing with the logistical challenges of filming across multiple terminals, on the airfield and in restricted locations in order to make the video a reality. It is the next phase of Heathrow’s brand campaign designed to mark its 70th anniversary, and demonstrates that the airport has specialized in reconnecting people with loved ones throughout their 70 years.
