Freedrum is an app that uses a pair of sensors attached to drumsticks to let musicians practice anytime, anywhere

What if you could bring air drumming to life? Freedrum makes that fantasy a reality by letting you use your smartphone as a drum kit, whether you're on a beach, at a bar or in your very own living room.

The application syncs to sensors attached to a pair of drumsticks, connecting to any device with Bluetooth Midi. By banging the drumsticks in the air just like on a drum set, the smartphone picks up the movement and then sends out the sound. An optional sensor position fits into the front of a shoe reminiscent of drum pedal for the full experience.
