Blippar has partnered with stores and restaurants to provide an interactive retail experience

Visual discovery app Blippar has launched an augmented reality shopping destination this holiday season, partnering with over 140 stores and restaurants in Covent Garden. Shoppers are being offered a unique, interactive experience with exclusive events and rewards.

To unlock various discounts and rewards, users need to use Blippar's interactive map of Covent Garden as to see the tags on select items in-store and tips from the Cosmopolitan, Esquire and ELLE fashion editors, along with Covent Garden retailers such as Hackett, Charlotte Tilbury and Ted Baker. In addition, Blippar hosts a digital hunt to find eight hidden reindeer with a draw for a daily prize, an AR Christmas tree and Santa experience that unlocks exclusive rewards, and Blippable stickers on restaurant and shop windows that reveal special offers.
