Me is a new storytelling app that helps kids work out their feelings of both love and fear

Empathy is one of most important skills for children to learn as they begin to interact with the world. Brooklyn-based app design studio Tinybop has developed a new app called Me to help kids learn how to empathize through the use of storytelling.

Me is designed to help children better connect with their feelings, beginning with creating a version of themselves in the game. From there, they can choose their favorite color so that the app can use it as its color scheme. Afterwards, kids can engage with different prompts encouraging them to talk about their family members, take pictures of their pets and draw their favorite treats. The app also helps children work out their biggest fears with the hopes that by doing so, they can better understand the importance of words and feelings.
