Peer through this sleeve and you'll see shining constellations wherever you are

What better way to show a friend or a relative that you care than by showing them they mean the whole starry night sky to you? This Starry Sky Envelope reveals a marvelous set of stars in the celestial black or at least, that’s what it appears to show.

Moe Tsukada, a young Japanese art student, created the envelope as her entry to a design contest. She won first prize and from there Kaminokousakujo, a paper craft company, helped her distribute it to market.

The paper envelope’s design is actually quite simple. Tsukada pierced tiny holes and then placed a double-layer mechanism to allow for light to sneak in. Thus, the tiny holes look like shimmering stars when a person peeks inside.
