Japanese design firm Nendo has created a series of rolling workplace screens intended to encourage abstract thinking and collaboration

Our subconscious minds respond in different ways to different shapes and symbols. Circles tend to project a positive emotional message which could be the impetus behind Japanese design studio Nendo‘s creation of rolling workspace screens to help encourage office creativity.

Produced for Japanese furniture manufacturer Kokuyo and featured at the 2016 Orgatec Trade Fair, the large round structures double as noticeboards and whiteboards. Using slots to hold objects in place on tables, benches or floors, the circular objects can be rolled across the room as needed.
